Mary Jo Weidert has been an artist all her professional life with 23 years of it spent as a graphic designer. She has won numerous national design awards for her work in the commercial design field which has been displayed at The New York Art Directors Gallery in Soho, NY.

For the past four years Mary Jo has been working with the ancient technique know as fusion glass to create contemporary art glass, sculpture and jewelry. She holds glass fusing workshops at the Wild Apple Glass Studio & Gallery which she opened in May 2007.
